No new eliminations today, of pool entries or of teams, as three of the four second-round series go to game seven...expect the number of contenders to drop sharply over the next two days, though...out of curiosity, and since there wasn't much change today, I decided to recalculate the standings using the old scoring system, and was surprised to find that although the order and winning percentages were a bit different, all the same people were still in contention, and not only that, but so was Brian Hazzard...there were also six people with winning percentages higher than 10% and within 7% of each other, so it may not be the new scoring system that's keeping things even, but just the nature of this year's entries and the turn of events that this year's playoffs have taken...I'm open to any thoughts anyone has on the scoring, positive or negative, so please feel free to email me anytime about it...
