Previous Standings

Belgium finishes with a win despite a red card, and Algeria salvages a draw with Russia to go through, completing the group stage...congratulations to Ian who holds onto the lead...as you can see, I've added win & show (i.e. finish in the money) percentages to the standings; these are strictly for interest sake and I'm not guaranteeing the accuracy, but they look plausible to me (although it seems a bit surprising that everyone still has a winning scenario, so that could indicate a bug in my calculations...I'll be investigating further next week)...fyi, they're based on all possible outcomes being equally probable (i.e. each game being 50/50)...I'm afraid I won't have a chance to update the standings again until the round of 16 is completed, but I will post retroactive updates when I can...
